In case anyone notices one less druid around (yeah, right), I'll be on vacation on the (hopefully) sunny Outer Banks of North Carolina from 8/18 until 8/25 with little to no internet access. See y'all for MC!

I love the Outer Banks! I live in the Charlotte area and for your sake I hope it cools down for you while you are there. We are working on about 17 days in a row of over 90 degree temps and had just about half of those days over 100! My brother – in – law went there last week and said that they had a day hit 118 on the beach!

Yeah, I think it's supposed to be a little better on the Outer Banks next week...but we've had sucky temps in DC too, and believe me, I'd rather be at the beach or by the pool in that weather than in the city. Especially if cold beer and margaritas are involved (as they, of course, must be)!
