Where have we been.
Well we have been without (95% of the time)cable, internet and even a phone for the last week, Ive had Charter here 3 times and they finally came to the conclusion that its a line problem and not inside our house (no shit).
Finally talked to someone down road on the next street (new housing area and we are the first on this street with a cable hookup) and they where having the same problem, no high frequency just lower channels with analong, really fuzzy. I just watched two bucket trucks at a pole and Im hoping they have fixed the problem.
So on a side note, Im gonna be out of the loop for awhile, having surgery on my left hand on Friday for trigger finger (funny when my middle finger is locked in a curl position then I get it to pop straight out like Im flipping someone off :) ) and the main problem is carpal tunnel. So my keyboarding will be limited.
Hopefully we keep our line today, that will be the giveaway that its fixed.
Ohh and Fox, have a good trip. :)

Sorry to hear about your finger...this isn't one of those new housing developments built on an ancient Indian burial ground, is it? Because that would explain everything.
Good luck with that stuff, Sky! Same thing happened to The Don and I about a year and a half ago...except it took Charter many months to figure out what was wrong. :p

Looks like it is fixed, when all this was built there was very little rain, and last week we had some heavy rains, from what I heard one of the cable box's on a empty lot had water in it.

I dont know about the indians but there where Civil War battles over all the area here. When they start clearing a area for homes you will find alot of collectors with metal detectors checking out the ground. Maybe I have some pissed off yankee under the house :)

(one handed typing) Yeah but he is not used to using two hands ;)
Damn Val did not tell me how long the cut would be, with two incissions my left hand looks like I was in A KNIFE FIGHT AND LOST ,,, KEK

Did they have to go in through the side for yours? I need to get the surgery done on my right hand, left isn't all that far behind. I've only seen two surgery aftermaths for carpal tunnel, one was a total trainwreck where they went in from the side and totally butchered her hand. The other was a pretty small cut int he palm and they fixed it right up and the next day he was much better and had full use of his hand.

well my first cut was for a trigger finger, so i have one cut left to right about one inch below the middle finger then about one inch below that i have a cut going down the palm. not much pain yet (oxcy ftw) but im really looking forward to a few months when all is normal without all the numbness and pain from work or playtime. hopefully i can then get the right hand done around january.

May I ask how old you are? Does this happen to everyone? Is this something for me to look forward to? I am always on the computer.

For what it's worth -- I had carpal tunnel badly in my left hand, and had the surgery to release it. The doctor said I'd probably need to have surgery in my right hand too in a few years.
Instead, I started doing trigger point therapy -- deep muscle massage -- to work on the muscles of my arms all the way to the shoulder. A lot of stretching and whatnot. My right hand got way better through the massage, and now I'm really wishing I hadn't had the surgery in my left, because I've had weird after-effects from the surgery.
I strongly recommend looking into every possible alternative -- as early as possible -- if your arms become fatigued from constant computer use (or too much masturbation). Massage and physical therapy may be able to help way more than surgery can.

I also got cramps from too much masturbation. I found getting a massage really helped, cause then my arms weren't doing any of the work anymore. But then the cops raided the massage parlor and I had to start doing it myself again...
