I'm so torn! My favorite yum yum is Pecan Cheesecake, which is pretty much pecan pie with a graham cracker crust and cheesecake on top. So is my love cake, or pie?
And why does everyone ignore brownies?? Long live super fudgey brownies!!!

I don't consider cheesecake cake. The reason I'm not that into cake is because of the spongy bread part and the possibility of the frosting on top being way too sweet. None of this applies to cheesecake. Maybe it's its own breed?

A cheesecake is a sweet, cheese-based dessert. The combination of its crust and filling (typically containing eggs, cream, and a soft fat like cream cheese) make it a closer relative of custards like buttermilk pie or creme brulee than of a traditional cake, and in fact it is classified as a pie (and not a cake).

And ice cream goes with pie better than cake.
Warm apple pie. Vanilla ice cream. Its simple yet undeniably the best.
(Did I just start another tangent of this arguement?)
And Brownies rock! Although I love walnuts so when I make brownies they come out more like brownie covered walnuts. And they are the chewy ones NOT the cakey ones.

Pie is the way to go. Apple Carmel Walnut pie.Pizza also qualifies as pie - pizza pie.

Noooo, you can't start staying that other things = pie. Beam will come in here and start flinging flaky crust and fruit filling at you.
