For some reason I just don't care anymore. This has happened before so maybe I'll be back. It was kind of sudden. Just woke up one day recently and had no interest in logging on. I think seeing how far behind I always am, and the stuff I do accomplish being totally worthless to everyone but me makes me feel very negatively about paying a subscription.

I missed the resubscription time (of course) so I have some time before I am locked out. If anyone gave me mats or anything and want it back or cash or something (in case I never make it back) then please ask!

Amonsul, I appreciate your efforts to run instances. I guess it just feels like wasted time. All of the "cool" stuff I can do or achieve is really just crap. In short, feels like where I was in EQ back in the day, always behind. I remember casting Spirit of Wolf on someone and they laughed at me and told me they had Run3. To my recollection, SOW was better than Run3 but what the hell, it still hurt....

Will still check in now and again. Also, I cancelled Adaranas account since I pay for it. She may be back if she solos. She hardly plays unless I want her to play with me.

I'm sorry that you feel that way, and I'm sorry you're leaving. If you're not having fun then there's no reason you should pay... or spend time playing.

There are 9 million people playing this game... and I can promise you that at least half a million people will be better players than anyone in this guild will ever be. If the only thing that brings you pleasure is that you're better than everyone else then you have set unreasonable goals for yourself. I learned that when I was playing Asheron's Call 2 and I couldn't be the best at something when only 400 people were playing.

If anyone else is feeling down in similar ways I encourage them to speak up on the forums if there's anything we can do as a guild to help. If you're not getting anything out of playing then of course you shouldn't continue but if there's anything that we as a guild can do to make your time in Azeroth happier just let us know.

Happy journeys Maligner

Sorry to hear that. You will be missed. (And you're welcome.)

I think most everyone gets that same feeling every now and again. Sometimes I have to take a week or two break from the game for those same reasons of "What the hell did I just do with all my evenings this week? My toon only advanced how much?" :)

I have long ago realized I will not be the first to XX character level or XXX skill level. So basically I play for me. I help when I can and when I can schedule it but if I don't feel like grouping or even logging in I don't. If the game stops being enjoyable, it's time for a break, short or long or permanent.

Come back to us if you get that itch to play again. And please keep in touch on the forums. Word to Adaranas.

Sorry to see you go. Hope you come back :)
I have been feeling tired of wow latetly. I have been playing TF2 a lot and started to play my lock alt again. Forgot how fun it was.

Will miss you. ::Wave::

Great guild and I really think WOW is as good as they come. It's more like Amonsul said, at the end of the week.... actually sometimes I can't tell if a week ever ended I play so much. I just have the blahs. I'm spending some time playing games that are not MMO's. I hit pause and go do laundry, fix dinner or just take a crap. Well, that wasn't exactly called for but I just need a change of pace. I've been on like hardly not at all for over a month and really just wanted to fill you guys in AND wanted to say I cancelled because I've not been on and the bill is being paid for no reason. I figured if anyone checked and saw I cancelled and I never said anything it would be wierd, so here we are. Probably be around and back in game eventually.

Just so you know, I picked up Vampire: The Masquerade- Bloodlines as a digital download from ebgames. It's a lot of fun and not a kiddie game. A little buggy which sucks and I found that you can't use any of the community mods because it screws up the game (being a download). If you want the official version I recommend the DD version. If not, look for a boxed version. It's pretty darn cool and nothing else I know of like it out there.

Also picked up Company of Heroes. Pretty neat.

Not to drudge up an old post, but I am strongly considering handing my account over to anyone interested. Not wanting money, just hate for the account to go to waste. I think my Eitrigg toons are as follows (from memory):

Maligner 67 Warlock Mining and Gnome Engineering
Reggid 55 Paladin Mining Armorsmith
Oiyn 62 Hunter Herbalism Alchemist
Yendor 46 Priest Tailor Enchanter
Yarb 58 Druid Skinner Tribal Leatherworker
Farg 46 Rogue Mining Skinning
Solace 46 Mage Mining Skinning
Mittun 44 Warrior Mining Skinning
Irual 46 Shaman Mining Jewelcrafting (unguilded)

Of course, check the Armory for specifics. Probably no more than a couple hundred gold altogether between them, if that. I don't really remember. Lots of garbage items that probably no one wants. Almost all toons have at least 3 mooncloth bags if not more. Some stockpiles of other resources. The guild can have the account if it's needed, if only to use to flesh out runs, especially once the toons are leveled up.

I really think I am ready. It's been a while and I don't miss it a whit. In fact, when I think about coming back, I feel more lost. I love computer games but I think WoW has run its course for now. What does anyone think?

I'd wait until after this expansion before giving the account away... never know, one day you will be walking through walmart and happen to catch that shiny new box in the corner of your eye only to look over and see Arthas taunting you from behind shrink wrapped cardboard and you have the urge to come back and put that little emo bastard out of his misery!

Since I can't see killing Arthas, not to mention probably never actually seeing him, I don't anticipate wanting to buy any more expansions.

No interest? If none I will look into passing the account on to someone outside of the guild. I will let you know if I do this so you can kick all the toons if you haven't already.

Okay thanks.
Yeah, I think the majority of us already have so many characters, taking on even more would be kinda unnnngh. ;)

Aiight.

Go ahead and drop the toons from the guild if you would so that you don't get any wankers (other than me) running around in my Maligner suit.

It's been really fun the past couple o' years. Thanks to all for being who you are, most of you anyway.

And, one more thing I have to say that I've been holding in, not wanting to say. I hate drama so I apologize for drawing a line in the sand on the way out the door....

Cake, not pie.

Take care folks. Best guild I know!
