The wowwiki has a very good, concise listing of the upcoming changes in the next patch. Give it a look.
Patch 2.3.0
This doesn't list the new Heroic rewards, however. They are here (with a lot more 2.3 changes in detail). Start signing up for Heroics and saving your badges!

This patch will be released in one week's time, by the way.

Woot! I'm so excited I can hardly eat my maple syrup.
For those that don't let WoW background patch, I'm downloading it now -- 281 MB.

New talent calculator is out http://www.wowhead.com/?talent
Not sure how I missed this but I never saw this new change.
1. Aimed Shot (Marksmanship) now reduces healing done to that target by 50% for 10 seconds

AWESOME!!!!!
Karazhan Chess Event: The Dust Covered Chest can now only be looted by players who are nearby when the event is completed successfully. In addition, the chest now contains 2 Badges of Justice for each player present.

I don't know nothin' 'bout no priests, but I see that Fear Ward will now be available to all priests.I assume that will be helpful in some situations, although there is a 3 minute c/d.

I see that Affliction warlocks will no longer be able to drain life/mana quite as ferociously, thusly negating several key PvP talents.
Meanwhile hunters have been given a mortal strike shot.
I suspect SOMEONE's been WHINING.

I think the warlock change is in order. Mortal Strike should affect all healing. I didn't realize it didn't affect life drains so it makes sense to change that.

Speaking for this dwarf priest, I am not overly thrilled about the fear ward changes. I am sure non dwarf priests are happy though, but for us we got nerfed. Our fear ward went from a 30 second cooldown, to a 3 min cool down, and from a 10 min duration to a 3 min duration.

And we got a new holy damage spell that stuns. A spell that stuns! I'm excited about that.

It seems that Blizzard is trying to eliminate "guarantees" from the equation. The same is happening with Disarm. Instead of talents or items granting immunity they now simply reduce the duration. Instead of fear-ward making a fight trivial it now only helps to use it when it is most needed.
Not sure how good your replacement is as compensation though.
However, I am liking the whole Pain Suppression thing...

Fear ward! Sweet! Now the dwarf priests shall taunt me no longer.
