I played the shit out of that game!!

It was really hard but one of the ones I was proud to say I finished :)

All I remember is that you couldn't jump 'cause you had to swing yourself around on your bionic arm. I'm part of the never finished it crowd.

I watched my brother play that one! I don't think we ever finished it either.

The very last part of the game was an escape before the island blew up.

There was a huge countdown in the center of the screen and if you didn't get to the top fast enough you died.

My brother would be shouting at me to hurry up when we got to this point and it was really hard.

And here's the whole game in fast forward.

I totally forgot that the end boss was a genetically altered, re-animated Hitler.

I admit that parts of the game stumped me for a long time... like figuring out that you could select Descend OR Transfer at the beginning. Or that you needed a permit to get into the white zones. I probably got help from a Nintendo Power article... but I did finish it :)

I remember it being an escape thing, because my brother was like, "Hey this is like Metroid," and I was all, "I AM NOT PLAYING THIS EVER," because seriously: Metroid is one of the two games I ever threw a genuine screaming tantrum about, and that is why.

The other one was Majora's Mask for the N-64, also regarding a timed event.
