For those that didn't hear the story about my toy for the day...
Some awesome friends of mine all pitched in and rented me a car for the day yesterday, as a belated birthday gift. They had my eyes covered until I was in front of my building, at which point I had keys put into my hand and was told it was mine until 9am the next day. Considering I have ALWAYS wanted a Porsche... it was the best gift EVER. :D

I once looked into renting a porsche for my trip to Nice this past summer- WAY expensive, so I didn't do it. So cool for you that you got to have a sweet toy for a day! Is the 401 out toward Kingston still a lawless dragstrip? I remember it being that way a long time ago, and probably a good spot to test that sucker out...

They told me if I went 150 km/h I would have my license suspended, and the car impounded, and I would have to pay for the rental of the vehicle for the 2 weeks until it was released. Oh, and could have a fine of up to $10,000. NO THANKS. So I kept it tame. But I sure did have fun.
I did get one parking ticket right in front of my building. Which really pissed me off because in the 2 years I have been living here I have never gotten a ticket for stopping there. And I was only away from the car for 5 minutes! I think the cop was just jealous and wanted to stick it to someone who had a fancy car. I am taking it to court.
And hell, no, I didn't eat or drink anything in that car. It was my PRECIOUS! And as you can see, I gave it lots of hugs. :D
