Have you tried trolling the AH?

If you can't find the weapon of your choice, you may have to use a different sort of weapon until you can find a mace that you really like. Visit the weapon trainers if you need to.

I prefer swords, but I had Agnes using staves for a very long time because I just couldn't find a good mage sword.
