Anyone else unable to login to WoW and the WoW Account Management website? I've been trying to log in since 10:15pm server time (it's now 10:40pm) and can not connect.

Nevermind. I walked away to watch some Law&Order:SVU. When I came back at 11:15 I was able to get in.

From 12-1:30am server time now, still can't connect. Also: WoW Forums are down for me.

The forums were down for me to. I think their authentication servers were fucked up.
Let's see... 9.2 million players @ $15/m = $138M a month... you'd think they'd have better redundancy setup.
I'm a server tech and web developer... so I know things get screwy at times. But non of the sites or servers I manage bring in $138M a month either.

We're aware that players are currently unable to log in and we're in the process of investigating. We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused in your normally scheduled play. We'll provide an update for this issue in approximately 30 minutes with further information.
Note: As the authentication issue appears to be intermittently affecting all website and forum login, updates to this post may not be possible. Please stay tuned to the in-game Breaking News for consistent updates. You will need to relaunch the game to see any Breaking News updates.
Update - 11:41 PM PST
The authentication issue has been resolved and all logins are now being processed properly. Due to the large amount of players attempting to log in you may experience slight delays. We will be continuing to closely monitor the authentication system throughout the night. We've appreciated your patience and again apologize for the interruption.
