I was going to say sometimes it's embarassing being an American, but then I remembered that there are stupid ignorant people everywhere. So, now I'm embarassed to be a human being...

In this job, you often have to struggle with the morality of taking people's lives. Anytime I begin to question my role from a moral standpoint, I just think of things like this, and I feel better about what I do.

Her response about Europe and France is bad but but I don't know about you but I did not learn that in the third grade.

I actually don't remember when I started learning about geography. It's always been my worst subject. I certainly didn't know that the capital of Hungary was Budapest.
On the other hand, I HAD heard of both.

Don't know if I knew that at that age, probably not.
That one chick at what, 22-24? Southern Drawl or not, she should know that shit. At LEAST know some European country other than france and that hungary is a country.
Wha.. why.. how. HOW.
It's not even a matter of smart vs stupid. Common sense and knowledge. I can understand not being able to place Hungary on a map, I get that.. but to have 'never heard of that' is intolerable.
