I'm not sure if anyone else here is familiar with the Westboro Baptist Church, but they make normal ultra-conservative religious freaks look like card carrying members of the ACLU.

One of my favorite movie lines of all time was from the cranky old man played by Max Von Sydow in the Woodie Allen film Hannah and Her Sisters: "If Jesus came back and saw what's going on in his name, he'd never stop throwing up."

I've heard of this group. I honestly hoped they were a satirical group... but apparently not.

I feel sad for these people. So very sad.

Too bad they didn't parody "Do They Know It's Christmas" (the other big 80's famine-relief song). Then we could make a game of figuring out which of Phelps' warped extended family is the closeted Boy George stand-in.

I love how they contradict themselves. They say "It's too late to change his mind" and then tell them to stop sinning? What would the point of that be?

I can't believe that much stupidity can be contained in one video. And especially the end. If that's not sinning, I don't know what is.

Fortunately its not really a 'church' so much an inbred cult. Notice in the video how they all look related? Thats because they are.

I'm a Christian, but thats just.....wow. It's radical people like that that are turning folks away from religion. The God I believe in is a god of love. They aren't much better than the idiots running around with bombs strapped to themselves. Don't get me started.

And on top of that, they are really bad singers.

For me it showed "Guy Tossed Head First Into Wall". Could that have been more fitting?
