I just wanted too take a minute to apologize to VS members for my scarcity of late.

For months--stretching into nearly a year -- I have been unable to get a decent signal from Comcast. Up for a while, down for a while, erratic for a while, etc. Through some perverted sense of loyalty, I have refused to play Rubrick under such conditions. Plus, there is no way I could group with someone when I never knew when I was going to freeze, or how long it would last.

So I have been playing lower level characters. It's one thing to die lag death five times in one evening when you are level 12; it's a whole nother thing when you are level 67. And a boatload of money, too, when you wear plate.

Well, Comcast and I seem to have had our come-to-Jebus meeting, and I "appear" (note my hesitation) to be back with a good, strong signal.

However, I now have two new characters that I have come to know and love (Dind 47 and Flikka 40) that I would like to add to the guild when I get a chance, as they seem to be keepers.
