So, I got the token for my T4 gloves. Obviously, I'm eyeing the Gauntlets of Malorne but I've been running some numbers. Beam currently wears the Gloves of Dexterous Manipulation with +8 Agi and a +12 Stam gems. With the gloves (all these stats are self buffed, no food), armor is 27280, health 13814, and dodge is 30% (well past the defense cap at the moment, so it doesn't matter). With the gauntlets, armor jumps to 28598, health drops to 13734, and dodge plummets to 28.7%.

I'm not too concerned over the health drop, so it's a comparison of armor vs dodge. I'll also loose some +hit by going with the gauntlets.

Any suggestions?

You might be better off saving the malorne piece until you get a 2nd piece. The 2 piece bonus is handy to have around. Your armor is high enough at the moment, it best to keep your dodge above 30% and stamina up. I wouldn't worry about +hit being a factor until your armor/health/dodge are all at high enough levels.

I was wearing the manipulation gloves prior to the malorne drop, but my armor was much lower (22k) when I received them. So I took the armor.

I find myself (Khros) in the same place. I have the gloves but will not really equip them until I can get the set bonus with the helm. Right now my Oblivion set bonus is too important to sacrifice without something better to replace it.

I agree the drop in dodge is a bit ouchy.
