Someone had the crazy idea to combine ice skating, roller derby, and grand prix. It even has a corporate sponsor!

I can count on one hand the number of times I've been on ice skates. Growing up in San Diego doesn't lend to much ice skating.

You Canadians want to show me how to skate, and I'll show you how to zero in on spot as big as a pencil lead at 100 yards with a rifle.

I'm only confident with my bow up to 30-40 yards. Thankfully... when deer hunting you don't take bow shots much further then 20-30 yards for risk of missing and just injuring the animal. I've seen that done, and I hate it.

Just strap laser beams to their heads and us Americans might have to start worrying about an invasion force. Imagine hundreds of thousands of 'em skating across the border all fast and reckless, slicing ankles with their razor boots, and blinding us with lasers. Oh the humanity!

If I wasn't such a clutz on ice, I would so do that! They also have tobbogoning on ice down a steep hill in Quebec city. I've done that.
