2.3.3 introduced a bug.

Mojo is supposed to be a rare non-combat pet that can only be obtained through gathering Amani Hex Sticks in ZA. These Hex Sticks can be used on the frogs inside ZA to turn them into humanoids. The humanoids will then grant a prize. Some turn into vendors, some give gold, some give recipes, and some give mojo

2.3.3 introduced a bug where if you went to ZA and /kissed a troll named Prigmon outside by the Flight Path you were whispered "Feeling a little froggy?" and Mojo appeared in your bag.

www.wowinsider.com ran a story about this, which is why I found out about it. I managed to get it for 3 of my characters and Sapph.

It wasn't intentional and when it became widespread news (There were about 50 people outside ZA of various levels when I went) Blizzard started working on a hotfix.

Now I'm not sure about this part... but they applied a hotfix and from the posts I saw it looks like it was right about the time that we were in Gruul. I imagine that the Ghostlands and the Dranei starting areas are both on the same physical server as Outland. And if that's true, it would explain why Outland went down for 10 minutes and Azeroth remained.

Blue posts state that we'll get to keep the frogs if we got em though... so enjoy yours if you got it!

No shit. That couldn't have waited until the Tuesday morning maintenance? It's not like people were getting epic gear or anything. Just a freaking pet. Big F*cking Deal.

LAME!! That happened and then he glitched after that :( I want that time back and my robot pets to fight again.

I just checked out the froggy thing. They did fix it, no more Mojo from kissing Prigmon.

How on earth does that bug even come to exist? Do you have to kiss the NPCs inside ZA after using the Hex stick to appear? Doesn't sound like it. So how does kissing pigmon trigger this event? Blizzard Lameness, and on top of that no alert and just rebooting the server.....Oh and Ghostlands/Exodar are on the same server as outlands.

Well the reason that they rushed to fix it is there was also a big outcry from people that had actually obtained Mojo the correct way.

I'm not sure if I agree with either side but I see the argument. It's a super cool pet... but only when a small percentage of the players have it.

I wish I had gone and gotten it. :(
